| Mercury Corporate Brochure - The Chameleon |
![]() |
"As circumstances change, Mercury will adapt. As you make creative decisions, Mercury will follow them." The Mercury brochure was designed at the very beginning of the communications explosion. Digital technology was in its infancy and the market had only just opened up from the monopoly held by British Telecom. The brochure format was large (280mm x 300mm) for maximum impact. It was targeted at the boardrooms of The City of London where the massive communications expansion was about to happen. The images were deliberately provocative in an industry where, at the time, most marketing literature was dominated with 'techie' photographs of microchips and VDU screens.
