Sensory Garden - Gorringe Park Primary School
In 2003, as part of a major project to make best use of the large school grounds an area was set aside for a Sensory Garden. It took seven years to bring the concept into reality and in September 2010 the garden was finally opened.

Below a handbook was produced to help the school maintain and care for the garden. All the plants were listed and photographed noting any special sensory features eg. fragrant, attracts bees etc.
